About Private China Driver
Private China Driver is a husband and wife team based in Guangzhou
One of us is a Guangzhou native while the other is an expat from New Zealand.
The idea for Private China Driver came from our own travels within China
We found ourselves trying to hire transport, work out what to see, estimate how long places would take, and build a good day without really knowing the city. We kept wishing there was a better way to do it: choose from a curated list of places, build a sensible plan before the trip, then adjust it easily while experiencing the city.

Finished earlier than expected? Move on.
See something interesting while driving past? Add it.
That idea eventually became Private China Driver.
We combine the luxury of private transport with flexible itinerary planning designed for international visitors to Guangzhou.
How the service works
Before you arrive in Guangzhou, make a rough plan of what you want to do each day. When you arrive you will be picked up and taken to your hotel or the first item on your itinerary.
During your stay, use the app to make changes to your itinerary: click a button to stay where you are longer or leave earlier, or select from a list to change your destination. Your driver will get instructions from the app, picking you up and dropping you off on your schedule.
Although your driver may not speak English, you can also communicate through the app with automatic translations whenever you need.
And we always have an English speaking team just a phone call away.
We know Guangzhou because it is our home
We also understand what visiting China feels like when you did not grow up in China. It can be difficult to know where to go, and how to get there, and it can be very difficult to arrange professional drivers in high quality cars.
The destination guides, suggested itineraries, and planning tools come from people who know Guangzhou and care about helping visitors experience it properly.
